The light aircraft had not long taken off when it veered off course, crashed down on a secluded road, burst into flames and hurtled towards a group of friends trailing a group of freeboarders along the road in a pick-up truck.

Truck passenger Anna Vaulina, 26, said: “I was thinking we were going to die, not one ounce of me thought I was going to survive. It felt like in a movie.
“I couldn’t say anything, no one was screaming. I just thought it was the end, I’d never be lucky enough to escape it.
